Reliability Prediction is the practice of estimating the product or system reliability for the purpose of tracking the progress toward meeting reliability objectives; the practice is useful in identifying areas that require improvement. This module covers both “empirical” handbook methods and “deterministic” physics of failure approaches to reliability prediction.
