Smart City Expo USA

Cully Patch of Quanterion Solutions is a speaker at the April 2-3 Smart City Expo USA in New York City. Smart City Expo USA is the U.S. edition of the world’s largest and most influential event on urban innovation, Smart City Expo World Congress by Fira Barcelona, according to the event website.

Smart City Expo USA is expected to draw more than 3,000 attendees and 100 speakers. The Smart City Expo USA 2025 agenda lists numerous technological topics including AI-ready cities, quantum technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence emergency management, semiconductors, drones, and others.

Cully Patch to Speak in the “Securing IoT Systems in the DoD and Beyond” Panel Discussion

Cully Patch, Sr. Program Manager, Cybersecurity and Intelligence at Quanterion Solutions, is a panelist for the “Securing IoT Systems in the DoD and Beyond” session. This session is led by Mark J. Romano, PMP of New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC) with other panelists to include Assured Information Security (AIS).

Session Description: As cities become increasingly connected, securing the Internet of Things (IoT) is more critical than ever.

This session introduces the groundbreaking work of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate in Rome, NY, and the ORION program, which addresses the urgent need for secure IoT capabilities.

Led by Mark Romano from NYSTEC, alongside DoD contractors from Assured Information Security (AIS) and Quanterion Solutions, this session will explore AFRL’s advancements in exploring, prototyping, and demonstrating high-impact, affordable and game-changing technologies, and how it brings ORION’s capabilities together to ensure the integrity and resilience of critical systems.

The session will include an audience Q&A.

 

Speaker Bio: Cully Patch

Cully Patch is a Senior Program Manager for Cybersecurity and Intelligence at Quanterion Solutions Incorporated and currently provides technical planning, resource management/coordination, customer outreach, and advisory assistance to cybersecurity-oriented customers.

Cully’s expertise has been vital to the development of an end-to-end IoT testing environment to allow for open architecture, cloud-based test and evaluation of embedded systems.

Cully is a retired U.S. Air Force officer formerly performing roles in intelligence, space and cyber operations, and warfighter education.
