Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC)

Quanterion has operated the Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC), the Department of Defense’s source of information and analysis on nuclear and conventional weapons-related topics. Sponsored by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), operation of the Center involved analytical activities, preserving and expanding the knowledge base, providing research related to DTRA mission areas, conducting outreach to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) community on Combatting Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) topics, and maintaining the Information Technology (IT) readiness and innovation potential to further advance information sharing.

In addition to the core activities, Quanterion was also able to perform Technical Area Tasks (TATs) under the DTRIAC contract, providing technical value added services by conducting studies and analytical activities on all CWMD-related topics. Under these types of efforts, the DTRIAC contract was used for Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) tasks subject to the following restrictions:

• Proposed tasking must fall within the DTRA mission areas
• Contract ceiling of $1 million
• Maximum 1-year Period of Performance
