Summary of Position:

We are looking for a full-time, on-site, Accounting Specialist. This position will be responsible for tasks such as preparing financial statements, using accounting software, analyzing financial data, making journal entries, and ensuring financial accuracy. In this role, you will directly support senior leadership and other assigned management positions, including calendar management/scheduling of appointments, entering payables, researching accounts receivable, filing, answering phones and back up other departments as needed. A successful candidate possesses the ability to problem solve, satisfy customer needs, prioritize and plan work activities, and ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations and operating standards.

We Are Looking For These Skills:

• Expense tracking, billing/invoicing through QuickBooks, tracking requisitions, purchase orders, assist with billing for projects including sub-consultant invoices and supporting documents.
• Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure changes are accurate and payments are received in a timely manner.
• Communicating with clients to discuss account statuses, changes, or discrepancies.
• Handle general ledger bookkeeping where necessary.
• Managing all aspects of the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting needs including processes related to A/P and A/R, payroll, month-end close, bank and GL reconciliations, as well as financial reporting and analysis.
• Creating and maintaining schedules for various accounts such as fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, etc.
• Preparing journal entries for month and year-end close and performing close processes.
• Preparing 1099s at year-end and maintaining W-9s for each client.
• Preparing Sales & Use Tax Returns, Property Tax Returns, etc.
• Assisting in developing and documenting processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Preparing audit schedules and assisting with the preparation for annual audits.
• Timely and effective communication, meeting deadlines and deliverables, and providing value through exceptional accounting services and support.
• Ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations and operating standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-years’ experience of related accounting experience.
• Demonstrated computer skills with experience in Microsoft Suite.
• Proven experience in MS Excel required (tables, charts, graphs, formulas, etc.).
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Experience with government contracts a plus.
• Security Requirement: This position requires the ability to gain and maintain a security clearance thus meeting eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  US Citizenship required.

Hourly Range:

$20.00-$23.00 per hour

Summary of Position:

QSI’s Web Developer will perform all phases of the web software development lifecycle, including design, programming, testing (unit and system level), debugging, and internal documentation. This position will work closely with employees and customers to ensure front-end usability, design and accessibility requirements are met, and help manage and maintain the Company website(s), and ecommerce platforms.

This position is in-person.

We Are Looking For These Skills:

• Write maintainable and efficient back-end code using languages including PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
• Utilize front-end frameworks such as React, jQuery, etc. for centrally supported themes, templates, and applications and ensure code meets web accessibility standards.
• Design, build, implement, and modify high-performance APIs and third-party integrations to enhance web functionality.
• Develop and implement a mobile layout.
• Maintain a responsive website design that is compatible across various devices and screen sizes.
• Build, test, and maintain the backend functionality of WooCommerce store pages.
• Conduct code and web system reviews to identify and correct gaps in performance and/or functionality while optimizing websites’ speed, and scalability.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the website’s search performance using Google Search Console tools such as the Index Coverage report and Google Analytics.
• Coordinate with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), IT Department, and others as needed to ensure proper security measures, network communications and server operations are in place.
• Conduct regular security audits, testing and debugging to safeguard web applications and ensure code accuracy and functionality.
• Develop and implement application policies, procedures, and standards and ensure their conformance with applicable laws and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• At least three (3) years’ experience related to web design, development, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience developing open-source CMS, such as WordPress.
• At least 2-years’ experience using Azure to create, host and manage web and mobile applications.
• Experience using app containers across diverse environments on-premises and in the cloud.
• Proven ability with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Proven ability to design and develop in a manner that pays close attention to responsiveness and accessibility.
• Proficiency in using semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to develop clean, maintainable code.
• Demonstrated experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Go, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git to manage changes to source code, collaborate, and experiment without damaging the codebase.
• Demonstrated experience with WordPress and/or other web frameworks and CMSs.
• Experience in creating and managing open-source ecommerce platforms, such as WooCommerce, preferred.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting online payment platforms, such as Stripe, preferred.

$63,000-$70,000
