Quanterion Solutions Incorporated, a Utica/Rome–based small technology business headquartered at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly), is growing based on several recent contract awards:
Quanterion is a team member of two DoD Multiple Award Contracts (MACs), the Homeland Defense Technical Area Tasks (HD TATs) and the Defense Systems Technical Area Tasks (DS TATs). Under subcontract to MacAulay-Brown (Dayton, OH) (contract FA8075-14-D-0005), HD TATs tasks address Homeland Defense and Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Biometrics, Medical, Cultural Studies, and Alternative Energy. Under subcontract to Booz Allen Hamilton (contract FA8075-14-D-0002), tasks address reliability, quality, maintainability, materials and manufacturing.
The Air Force has exercised a two-year option period for Quanterion’s prime contract (FA8075-12-D-0001) to operate the DoD Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center (CSIAC) addressing Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Modeling & Simulation and Knowledge Management. Under this contract, the company will be leveraging its partnership in the Northeast UAS Airspace Integration Research Alliance (NUAIR) in demonstrating the feasibility of extending the “AgentFly” autonomous airspace control system to real-world over-the-air multiple platform airspace sense-and-avoid deconfliction. This will be demonstrated at AFRL facilities including its Stockbridge Controllable Contested Environment facility.
In connection with these new contracts, Quanterion has immediate opportunities for additional personnel in Cyber Security, Web Site/Software Development, Information Technology and Government Accounting.
