Quanterion Solutions participated in the second annual UAS Industry Days sponsored by the Northeast UAS Airspace Integration Research (NUAIR) Alliance and the Empire State Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI). The event, held from September 22-23 at the NUAIR Alliance hanger and the Turning Stone Resort and Casino, featured a number of speakers, exhibitors, and flight demonstrations supporting this year’s theme of “Collaboration for Innovation”.
Quanterion’s exhibit highlighted the company’s most recent UAS programs, including ongoing efforts with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to perform airspace deconfliction testing at Griffiss International Airport. This particular program involves the integration of the AgentFly command and control (C2) software suite and commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware into a fixed-wing UAS to provide an airspace deconfliction experimentation capability for AFRL. AgentFly, a modeling and simulation software suite, integrates advanced flight path planning and decentralized collision avoidance with highly detailed models of the aircraft(s) and the environment. Quanterion also demonstrated AgentFly’s ability to provide large-scale simulations of civilian and unmanned air traffic, and the software’s airspace deconfliction and mission planning capabilities.
