Fall 2021 Open Training is now closed for registrations. Discover Quanterion’s Winter 2021 Open Training.

Quanterion Solutions is offering reliability engineering open training this fall on Tuesday, Sept. 14 through Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. The hands-on training will be hosted at the San Diego Training and Conference Center in San Diego, CA.

Attendees can choose between two course options – Quantitative Reliability Analyses – Practical Approaches and Weibull Analysis.

The purpose of the Quantitative Reliability Analyses – Practical Approaches course is to provide illustrative examples of the more common mathematical calculations and statistical techniques utilized by reliability engineers in the practical performance of their daily activities.

The other course option covers Weibull analysis, which is the starting point to problem-solving for most production reliability and maintainability issues. If you are an engineer, manager or engineering student, you will need to understand basic failure distributions, reliability engineering math, analyses, and data comparisons. Quanterion’s Weibull Analysis course will teach you all that and more. A download of the popular System Reliability Toolkit-V is included in the registration cost!

The courses also introduce various metrics to measure reliability and quality and techniques to predict, test and analyze the reliability of a product or system.

The course price is $1,950. Groups of three to four also receive a 10% discount and groups of five or more receive a 20% discount.

The final registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 1.

The training is provided through Quanterion Solutions’ Reliability, Maintainability and Quality Knowledge Center (RMQSI), which has been educating organizations and individuals in the U.S. and worldwide since the company’s beginning in 2000.

“RMQSI’s training courses were developed by our in-house reliability experts with decades of practical experience in reliability engineering,” said Preston MacDiarmid, President of Quanterion Solutions Incorporated. “Our training is sought after by industry, government and academia for its accelerated concepts-to-application approach. Several weeks ago we were honored to present our Design for Reliability course to members of the U.S. Army.”

The training explores common mathematical calculations and statistical techniques used by engineers in their day-to-day work – from calculating failure predictions common in the prototyping lab to analyzing defects in current products on the shop floor.

“Our training minimizes technical jargon to zero in on the practical applications of reliability analyses,” said Rich Wisniewski, Senior Reliability Engineer at Quanterion Solutions Incorporated. “After three days of training, attendees will walk away with the ability to identify and perform the various types of reliability assessments applicable for a new product at all life cycle stages – from concept to design to test and finally to field support.”
