TRADES(R) Copyright (C) 2007 Quanterion Solutions, Incorporated All Rights Reserved This README document includes installation information. *************************************************************************** ********** TRADES Installation Information *************** *************************************************************************** TRADES can be installed on Windows NT/2000/XP Server, Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT/2000/XP non-server versions . You will need a password to install the program. *** Unpacking the TRADES files downloaded from the Internet *** ------------------------------------------------------------------- The software you downloaded is packed in self-extract setup file *.msi. ***Installation Procedure*** ------------------------------------------------------------------- a. If you have a previously installed TRADES Suite or TRADES Demo version, please remove it. You can do that by using the "Add Remove Programs" feature of your Windows operating system. For example, to uninstall using Windows XP select: "Start">>"Settings">>"Control Panel">>"Add/Remove Software">>"Trades Suite" b. Follow the on-screen prompts and review the licensing agreement. To accept the licensing agreement and continue with the installation simply click on "Next" buttons c. The setup requires an installation password. The password will be supplied by Quanterion in the email response that contains the software download instructions. This password has to be input at the "Identification" screen. *** Licensing Procedures *** ------------------------------------------------------------------- * In order to be able to run the tool, a unique license file will need to be provided by QSI. * After installation completion, you will need to email a copy of your "TradesHostID.dat" file to QSI at TRADESHost@quanterion.com. * Your "TradesHostID.dat" can be found in the installation directory, usually "C:\Program Files\QSI \TRADES Suite\". * In response, you will receive, via e-mail, a license file for the purchased modules. The licensing process usually takes less than one (1) business day. * The license file should be copied to the installation directory. If the file is stored elsewhere, the path will have to be set using the TRADES Config Application under the license tab. * During Demo time, all modules are enabled with full/limited licensing. After purchasing, all modules that are purchased are fully licensed. *** Upgrade Instructions *** ------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the installation instructions above. You can install this version of TRADES to the same location as a previously installed copy of TRADES. Before upgrading to a new version, please uninstall any previous version already installed on the computer. A reinstallation will not affect existing projects. *** Documentation *** ------------------------------------------------------------------- For full documentation, including context sensitive help, press the F1 key at any time while running TRADES.
