They findthat the shapes of the anodic potentiodynamic polarization curves in the activeand passive potential regions depends on the microgeometry and on the degree ofoxidation of the original electrode surfaces. They suggest an optimal method ofpreparing the surface of steel 18-10 for polarization measurements.
