The analysisincludes the ground transmitting system, airborne automatic flight controlsystem, pilot and copilot operating in the system, and crew procedures. Actualdata from Category III experience in a specially equipped C-141 aircraft, alongwith equipment failure data from C-141 fleet experience was used to test andconfirm the modeling techniques.
