Abstract
Reliability and maintainability are major standards for measuring thesuperiority of an aircraft. They are major factors in the combat capabilities ofthe Air Force. Striving to improve and enhance the reliability andmaintainability of the aircraft with which the Naval Air Forces are currentlyprimarily equipped, the Jian 6 and the Jian 7, are urgent tasks of Air Forcemaintenance operations. This article presents a thorough and wide ranging surveyof aircraft manufacturing facilities and Naval Air Force Unit plants, and bycombining, analyzing and studying this survey, it presents methods and means ofimproving the reliability and maintainability of the Jian 6 and Jian 7 aircraft.
